Bourjois Air Mat Foundation Review

by

Hi Lovelies,

I’ve had quite a few requests to share my thoughts on the Bourjois Air Mat Foundation.

It’s a fairly new release here in Australia and I got mine from priceline.com.au ($27) or you can also purchase from asos.com ($22).

You can watch my full review here:

I believe there’s 6 shades available in Australia and it’s 30ml.

I’m in Beige but I also got Light Beige for the cooler months.

Bourjois Air Mat Foundation Selection

What it says:

“As light as air, the formula glides onto the skin for perfect coverage & a flawless complexion. Enriched with mattifying micronized powders, it eliminates shine with no mask effect.”

Tested by 31 women: 87% agree that the foundation erases imperfections and makes your skin look beautiful, 84% thought they achieved a matte complexion that felt comfortable and 81% thought that Air Mat allowed their skin to breathe.

And what I thought was really interesting is that there are silica beads in the formula that absorb excess sebum with no mask effect.

Now, I’m definitely a glowing, radiant complexion kinda girl but I really wanted to try this foundation, firstly because I’m a huge fan of Bourjois in general and secondly because it says that it’s light on the skin, and smoothes texture without looking cakey.

And I can report back to say that I’m a fan!! This is as matte as I will go but I’m really enjoying this foundation during summer. It keeps my makeup looking fab throughout the day and doesn’t feel heavy or mask like on my skin.

It’s a medium to full coverage on me, although I don’t find that it’s build able. One application has been fine for me though.

I apply it with my Furless CB2 Brush and then go over it with my damp beauty blender.

All in all I’m really liking the Bourjois Air Mat Foundation. I was a skeptic at first, with it being matte, but it’s become a go-to foundation for me.

Hope this review was helpful, let me know if you’ve tried it as well 🙂

Have a great day,

Mel xx

Oh I haven’t seen this foundation yet but it sounds great. I love a good matte foundation as I’m really oily the only thing that puts me off a bit is that it has yellow undertones maybe worth a look next time I am in Priceline. Great review.
